About us

Our company was born of a great passion: love for the products from our local area, the Langhe region, and the conviction that food can nourish body, mind and emotions simultaneously.

We have been in the catering business for over fifteen years, and our offering starts out with two keywords – CREATIVITY and INNOVATION, which allow us to anticipate fashions and trends to offer unconventional solutions and services.

Our services involve food and settings, designed with the goal of amazing both mind and palate, allowing our customers to communicate in an innovative manner through food itself.

Today, we are a structured company with over 25 full-time employees spread between the Langhe, Turin and Milan, and an organisation which allows us to work with great flexibility and reliability, for services of any size and level of complexity.

Our Journey

2005

Fly Srl founded

Fly Srl was founded in 2005, with the goal of organising events at a local and national level and providing catering services for the events themselves. The company’s core business was initially strongly focused on events, and catering represented a complementary area. This changed rapidly in the years to come, as the company developed its Catering & Banqueting operations and these began to represent a growing portion of turnover.

2009

Flyfood Founded

In 2009 the Flyfood brand was founded, identifying the Business Unit dedicated to food services.

The catering services offered aim to represent an innovative type of service compared to the main players in the market.

The introduction of environmentally friendly tableware (the first in the local market) and creative setting offerings are the starting point in delineating a market position which aims to create a unique offering.

The food offering is based on maximising use of locally produced foods, particularly those from our area of origin: the Langhe region.

2013

Prendono vita la Sede e il Flyfood Lab

The current headquarters were built in 2013 in Cherasco, in the heart of the Langhe region. It is a building designed to act as a food storage and cooking facility, with zero environmental impact. At the centre of the building is the FlyFood Lab where we develop new recipes and solutions for dishes and preparations, in order to allow us to be an innovative catering firm.

2015

The Company Canteen Business Unit is founded

In 2015 we founded the Company Canteen Business Unit, which handles corporate catering services for medium and large companies.

The Company Canteen BU was created to provide consultancy services for corporate catering and implement company canteen services in a tailor-made fashion, on the basis of the customer’s needs and corporate style.

2018

We become a Catering Concept Company

The evolution of the market and the results achieved by the company led us to choose to specialise in and dedicate ourselves exclusively to catering, and in 2018 we created Flyfood Concept Catering, which is specialised in the creation of food experiences for communication: starting out from food to develop emotive communication tools for companies.

2020

The company becomes a partner of BEA Italia

In 2020, Flyfood became food & beverage partner of BEA ItaliaBest Event Award.

BEA, a project of ADC Group in partnership with e20 and Annual degli Eventi, was created with the goal of rewarding the best Italian live communication case histories.

We are a young company: over 50% of our employees are aged between 18 and 35, and we guarantee continuous professional development to all, which allows us to guarantee customers a high level of service.
